Once you set the different conditions and filtered out the products and variants you want to view, choose how you will be editing them. The system provides a very flexible choice of actions that you can choose. Depending on your requirements, you can also combine different options on how your products will be edited.

Depending on your choice, you will have different edit options. You will have three options here:

Price

The Price option lets you change all your product's prices from the available price edits you can use.

1. Select Price from the drop-down list.

2. Choose how all your product's prices will be edited.

You have 8 options on how you can change your product's price:

  • Change value to fixed value: Choose this option to change all the product prices to the price you'll set.

E.g. Typing 5 as the value will change all the product's prices to 5.

  • Decrease/Increase by percent: This option lets you adjust the product's price percentage.
E.g. Typing 5 will add or subtract 5% to all the product's prices.

  • Decrease/Increase by fixed amount: Choose this option to adjust the price of the product based on the amount you'll set.
E.g. Typing 5 will add or subtract 5 from all the product's prices.

  • Update value based on original value: Choose this option to set all the product's prices based on the percentage of the product's original value.
E.g. Typing 5 will update all the product's prices to 5% of the product's original value.

  • Update value based on compare at price: Choose this option to set all the product's prices based on the percentage of the product's compare at price value.
E.g. Typing 5 will update all the product's prices to the 5% of the product's compare at price value.

  • Update value based on price: Choose this option to set all the product's prices based on the percentage of the product's price.
E.g. Typing 5 will update all the product's prices to 5% of the product's price.

  • Update value based on cost: Choose this option to set all the product's prices based on the percentage of the product's cost.

E.g. Typing 5 will update all the product's prices to 5% of the product's cost.

3. Once you have decided how the product's price will be edited, you have another set of options for changing your product's prices:

Note: Change value to fixed price, decrease/increase by percent and decrease/increase fixed amount will have all the same options. Also, some options can be combined, but not all.

  • Set Compare at price to original value once completed: Click this checkbox to set the compare at price to its initial value once the editing is complete.

  • Use price instead, if Compare at price is not set or less than Price: This option will let the system use the product's price if you haven't included any amount for the Compare at price. The price will also be used if the compare to price is already less than the product's price.
Note: This option is only available when your edit rule is Update value based on compare at price.

  • Apply the same to Compare at price: This option will let the system change the compare at price value based on the amount that you have set.

  • Prevent stack discount: Click this option to exclude variants that compare prices that are already greater than their price.

  • Ignore variants being sold at loss: This option will exclude the variants that cost more than their price.

  • Round to nearest after decimal point: If you want to set a value of how the system will round the product's prices, add it here.

  • Send Email when task is done: If the bulk edit is complete, the email address added here will receive the notification.
