Use segments to sort your products. You can create and combine ten multi-segment sorting for your collections. More segments mean a more narrowed sorting for a collection.

Here's how to create a new segment:

1. Navigate to Collections Sort and click Segment.

2. Click the + Create new segment button.

3. Type the Segment Name.

4. Select a sort type you've created from the list for your first sub-segment.

5. Choose if you want to set the condition to All or Any conditions.

Pro tip: When applying the "All conditions" criterion, only products that fulfill every specified condition will be chosen and sorted. Conversely, when opting for the "Any condition" rule, products that meet at least one of the conditions will be selected and sorted.

6. Next, select the filter that you want to use.

Pro tip: Filters are grouped into two categories: Order-related Properties and Product Properties. The first category lets you filter order-related properties such as checkouts, views, and add to carts. Product Properties are product type, price, vendor, etc.

7. Then complete the details of the condition.

In this example, we created a condition to sort all products with 2000 views.

8. To add more conditions, click the + Add new condition.

A maximum of 3 conditions can be used.

9. To add more segments, click the +Add new segment button and repeat step 4.

You can add up to 10 sub-segments for each new segment you'll create.

10. Review the details of the new segment and click Save.

Pro tip: Within a collection, products that do not fall under any of the defined sub-segments will be sorted according to the chosen sorting criteria for the collection as a whole.

11. You can now rearrange and change the sequence of the sub-segments by drag and drop feature.

The sub-segment you choose to move will be highlighted.

12. You can set any sub-segment as a "Default segment".

Remaining products from collection, that do not belong to other sub-segments, will be included in this sub-segment.

Note: If you would like to select the sort type manually for the default sub-segment, you can uncheck the box "Use sort type from Collection".
