To prepare Pulseway service for being a part of a master image, please follow the below steps:

  1. Stop the Pulseway service and delete the restart task

Locate the Pulseway service and stop it

Once done quickly open the Task Scheduler and delete the PulsewayServiceCheck task (the check is performed every 60 seconds, and that's the max time you will have to remove the task otherwise it will restart the Pulseway service and you will need to stop it again)

โ€‹2. Delete the Computeridentifier and ComputerName registry keys values

Start the Regedit, and edit values for the belowkeys

HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\ComputerIdentifier
HKLM:\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\ComputerName

Once complete you are ready to create your master image. Once a new system based on the master image is started it will automatically restart the Pulseway service, what will recreate the PulsewayServiceCheck task. New Computer identifier and new Computer name will be created automatically (the computer name will be equal to the system's hostname)
