Beginning January 26, with the arrival of Pulseway 9.25, Pulseway will no longer support Windows, macOS, and Linux versions older than the versions listed below. This includes but is not limited to Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012.
These operating systems have reached end-of-life and do not include the modern cryptography required for FIPS-compliant communication and other compliance standards, which is essential for ensuring platform security and data protection.
Security and reliability are core priorities for Pulseway, and by aligning our platform with modern operating systems, we can continue to deliver the latest innovations, improved performance, and industry-standard compliance.
What does this mean?
Although it may be possible to install the Pulseway agent on systems with unsupported operating systems, and some functionality may operate, please be aware that:
Pulseway does not test existing or new functionality in unsupported environments and cannot guarantee that functionality or connectivity to the platform will be maintained when releasing new product versions or updating infrastructure.
Pulseway may, at its discretion, explicitly block devices with unsupported and end-of-life operating systems from connecting to the platform without prior notification if required for platform security or regulatory compliance purposes.
What You Need to Do
Please ensure that any systems running affected Windows versions are upgraded before January 26, 2026, to ensure they can continue to be managed by the Pulseway platform.
In order for the Pulseway Agent to work properly on your managed endpoints, you'll want to ensure they meet the minimum system requirements below.
