Deploying Webroot begins with activating your trial within Pulseway from the Antivirus-License page.

You will receive an email with the instruction how to setup the Webroot console. It might take between 30-60 minutes for the email to arrive.

Once the email arrives login to your Webroot Management Console (Webroot Management Console link and the automatically generated password are included in the email). Complete the registration process.

To start using Webroot products for your devices, you will need to create Policies. Webroot encourages you to create default best practices Policies for your very first step. Follow this link to guide you through creating your Policies.

Now you are ready to create a Site. A Site will enable you to easily find and manage your devices. A site can be a business, a location within a business, or a collection of devices you want managed together. You can create just a single Site or multiple Sites depending on how you wish to manage your protected devices.

Press “Add Site” button and follow the steps.

Fill out the form to setting up the Site. Make sure to turn on both Global Policies and Global Overrides.

Once the Site is created, you can get the Site Keycode. You will need this Keycode when deploying Webroot to your endpoints within Pulseway.

From the Agent Status page in Pulseway, you get to view the status of the Antivirus add-on on your monitored systems. You can refine your search to include systems part of a scope, systems that contain a tag, systems that are in a group or systems that contain the search text in their name or you can select the Antivirus engine.

Click the “Actions” button then click on the “Install” button from the dropdown. Select Webroot, enter the Site Key Code and press Install.

After Webroot is installed, you can start sending commands.

· “Deep Scan” – start a scan

· “Cleanup” – start a scan and automatically quarantine malicious files

· “Uninstall” – uninstall Webroot from the endpoint

All commands can also be sent in bulk to the filtered list of systems.

When Webroot detects a threat, a notification containing the threat details will be sent.

When Webroot detects a threat, the status will be updated with the “Infected” state on Pulseway.

You can remove the detected threats by running the “Clean up” command.

Details of the detected threats can be seen when you click on the "Active Threat" link in the "Antivirus > Events" screen of Pulseway.

Important! - Please note that the Webroot integration-related features on Pulseway mandatorily require that the AV be installed via Pulseway. Hence, please ensure to always deploy Webroot via the Pulseway Web App to utilize the integration.
