Webroot comes as a full security suite ready for deployment from Pulseway with a single click of a button. The process itself is designed to be quick, user friendly and automated as much as possible.

However, sometimes it happens that a new license is not recognized correctly in Pulseway and returns the ‘License Expired’ error in Agent Status view.

Should that ever occur, please open your Webroot Management Console at https://my.webrootanywhere.com and login. In the Sites List, you can check if you are using the site that is in a trial status. In case you would like to convert from trial to full, please follow this link.

Verify that the machine is present in the Webroot Management Console by going to the Entities section. Search for that endpoint.

The endpoint needs to be working in the Webroot Management Console first for any license to be valid. In the scenario above, the endpoint is not correctly checking into your Webroot Management Console and needs the assistance of Webroot Support.

Please call them at (866) 254-8400 or submit a ticket in your Webroot Management Console.

On the Pulseway side, the first step to correct the issue is to uninstall Webroot AV from affected system.

Once Webroot AV has been removed from the system, please sign in and start the registry editor and navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor\Addons and delete the whole number 2 section in Addons.

Upon completion please do the same for Computer if these registry keys still exist
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Nod\webroot
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Nod\WRData

Once all of the above registry keys have been removed go to C:\Program Files\Pulseway\AV

and manually reinstall Webroot AV using the wsasme.msi package installer.

During the installation process you’ll be asked to provide your Webroot licence key (you should be able to find it in original email from Webroot or on your online Webroot account https://my.webrootanywhere.com)

The final step is the sign in back to Pulseway WebApp, navigate to the Antivirus section followed by Agent Status and select Install to reregister the Webroot licence with Pulseway.
