FAQ
Q: Does this apply to all Pulseway users?
A: No - only to those Team plan users whose instances are hosted in our European Data Centre
Q: Does this apply to all European users?
A: Not every European user is necessarily hosted in the European Data Centre, so this does not apply to every user in the region
Q: Is this downtime related in any way to security?
A: No - there is no security-related reason or concern behind this work
Q: Is this downtime related in anyway to the performance of my instance?
A: No. This downtime is needed to ensure the continued operation of the infrastructure to enable you to continue to have access to Pulseway.
Q: Why the relatively short notice?
A: Cisco have released a critical firmware upgrade for the blade enclosure used in the Data Centre. It will prevent a repetition of a serious system failure that has recently occurred in a similar environment at the same data centre. It is therefore urgent that we get this implemented as soon as possible.
