To use this feature, click one of the search shortcut keys to search for one of the following asset types: Configurations, Documents, Passwords, Locations, Contacts, and Flexible Assets.

Depending on where you hover your mouse, you can scroll each panel independently. In addition to previewing a result, you can also show or copy a password without having to click on it. You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll up and down through the results.

A note on searching for passwords

If your IT Glue administrator has set up a Password Access Workflow, please note that clicking the Show password button or the Copy to clipboard icon on a password’s search result will trigger a notification indicating that you have viewed or copied the password in question. Also, depending on the filters set by your Administrator, clicking Show Password or the Copy to clipboard icon will also trigger a notification.
