It's possible when signing up for an account, you may have created an account for your own company instead of signing up as an employee. This will cause tracking of the intended hours to the wrong company.
Simply switch to your employers account and it will resolve the issue.
At the bottom right of your screen, click Accounts. Once on this page, you're easily able to switch to another company.
Click the top left tab, you will see your company's logo. Click the down arrow beside the company logo and simply switch to the another company.
