How to manually set up SSTP protocol on macOS

Find your VPN credentials for manual configuration

To find your VPN credentials log into the PureVPN Member Area. Click πŸ‘‰ here to visit Member Area.

  • Login to the Member Area using your PureVPN registered email address and password.

  • From manage account section, go to the Subscriptions tab.

  • On subscriptions tab scroll down to be able to view your VPN credentials.

  • You will be able to see and copy your VPN credentials.

  • Note down your PureVPN username and click Eye icon to make your password visible and use it in the manual configuration


How to connect PureVPN manually on macOS

  • Run Easy SSTP from applications.

Run Easy SSTP from Applications.
  • Type your Mac password and click OK.

Provide your Mac password and click "OK"
  • Click Easy SSTP icon from Menu bar and select Configure...

Click on Easy SSTP icon from Menu bar and select "Configure"
  • Click New.

Click on "New"
  • Once the new windows open, please enter the information mentioned below for the following fields:

  1. Connection Type: Password from the drop-down menu

  2. Insert Connection Name: PureVPN SSTP

  3. Insert the desired server: Please refer to the server address shared in the above note.

  4. Enter your PureVPN credentials. Here is how you can πŸ‘‰ find your VPN credentials.

  5. Click Save.

Insert the information
  • Click Easy SSTP icon from menu bar and select newly created PureVPN SSTP connection.

Click on "Easy SSTP" icon from Menu bar and select newly created "PureVPN SSTP" connection.
  • You are connected now. Enjoy the FREEDOM!

SSTP Tunnel now connected
  • Click Easy SSTP icon from menu bar and select Shows Status... to verify connection.

Click on show status to verify SSTP connection
