Repetition Sanitization

If a Coach schedules a certain number of repetitions to be completed, the PUSH VBT Mobile App will assume the athlete performed that same number of reps and remove any extra reps that were detected by default.

This is because the system is calibrated to scanning and removing faulty repetitions due to events such as heavy ground impacts or un-racking/re-racking.

This repetition sanitization is performed once a set is completed, and is the case for real-time exercises as well. The Athlete/Coach will see any extra reps detected while performing the set itself, but these will be removed upon completion of the set.

NOTE: This does NOT apply to sets where 0 reps were scheduled, the VBT Mobile App will never sanitize down to 0 reps.

Example 1:
A coach schedules a set of Back Squat with 3 repetitions to be performed. The VBT Mobile App detects 5 repetitions during the set, but once the User ends the set the App will remove the two extra repetitions and only show 3 repetitions on the set summary screen.

Example 2:
A coach schedules a set of Bench Press with 0 repetitions to be performed, along with a Training Notes instructing: "Do as many reps as you can". The Athlete then performs 3 repetitions. When the Athlete completes the set, all 3 repetitions will be shown on the set summary screen.
