Allowing staff members access to the Core dashboard can help spread the workload of administrative tasks. Knowing and understand which role has access to what menu items and functions in Core can help you decide which role to assign! NOTE: Staff members can be added or promoted without allowing Control Panel access.

It's important to note that a staff member may not need access to the Control Panel to perform their job; most daily functions have been built into the functionality of the Staff App.

Coach:

Assigning the Coach role will allow access to the following Core menus and sub menu items.

In addition, the Coach role on PushPress Train is essential for managing fitness programs. Admin permissions in PushPress Core do not grant access to these program management functionalities unless the Coach role is also designated.

  • Dashboard | My Day, Check Ins, New Leads, Birthdays, & Anniversaries

  • People | Members & Leads

  • Appointments | Appointments, Appointment Export & Appointment Set Up

  • Products | Charge a Guest

  • Schedule | Calendar, Classes, Events & Check Ins

  • Reports | Engagement

  • Apps | Digital Documents & Access to any enabled/installed accessory app

Front Desk:

Assigning the Front Desk role will allow access to the following Core menus and sub menu items.

  • Dashboard | My Day, Check Ins, New Leads, Birthdays, & Anniversaries

  • People | Members, Leads, Staff Members, & Migration Assistant

  • Appointments | Appointments, Appointment Export & Appointment Set Up

  • Plans | Plans, Plan Categories, & Discounts

  • Products | Products, Charge A Guest, Pre-Orders, & Discounts

  • Schedule | Calendar, Classes, Events & Check Ins

  • Apps | App Store, Digital Documents, & Access to any enabled/installed accessory app

  • Reports | Engagement, No Show/Late Cancel

  • Settings | Your PushPress Plan, Settings, Lead Capture, & Policies

Admin:

Assigning the Admin role will give the staff member complete access to all Core menus and sub menu items. The admin role should be reserved for only staff who perform administrative tasks at the highest level. A good rule of thumb is that if you don't need the staff member to see every aspect of financial and member reporting, don't assign the admin access role. Furthermore, all Admin users have identical access levels to features within PushPress Core, such as viewing financial reports and adjusting application settings. Admins can also elevate other staff members to the Admin role through the system settings (People > Staff Members).

Accessing Financial Reports

Only Admins have access to financial reports within PushPress Core. If you do not have Admin privileges, you can request an existing Admin to update your profile.

Resolving Role-Related Access Issues

If you encounter any challenges accessing specific features, ensure your role matches the required permissions for the task. For issues in PushPress Train, confirm that you are assigned the Coach role.
