What is a conditional section?

Conditional Sections allow any content in the template to be included or removed from the final document.

Certain parts of the content will be delivered, or excluded based on a filter you apply.

If you want only certain teams to receive a part of the content, you set the Filter to Include Only With certain demographics (e.g. employees in Engineering).

Creating a Conditional Section in 2 Steps

1 - Select content you want to make conditional

Highlight part of your content and select the Conditional Section Icon.

2 - Select and Name your Filter.

Name your filter to make it easy to see what filter applies when editing content. Then, apply the filter Rule

If you want only certain teams to receive a part of the content, you set the Filter to Include Only Recipients With certain demographics (e.g. employees indicated in your HRIS as being part of Engineering).

If you want certain demographics not to receive part of the content you can set the Filter to Always Exclude Recipients with certain demographics (e.g. e.g. employees indicated in your HRIS as being a Contractor).
