Readership stats will help you understand if employees are receiving, clicking on, reading, or accepting the important information you're sending to them.

Readership Statuses

Sent: Pyn sent and delivered to the recipient(s)

Sent*: Pyn sent and delivered but with 1 or more bounced messages

Pending: For a Read and Accept message, the message has been Sent but not Accepted

Opened: For emails, an email has been received and opened. If the message has an add-on, it has not been clicked.

Read: Recipient(s) clicked "Read More" either email or Slack

Accepted: For Read and Accept messages, "Accepted" indicates the recipient has clicked on the button to accept the message.

Reminded: For messages with a reminder set, "Reminded" indicates the message has been sent again. Note: This is status will not be included in your readership statistics as it would already be included under the statistics for "Sent" messages.

Check Individual Readership Stats

  1. Log into Pyn

  2. Select the Sent tab

  3. Search for the name or email address of the employee and click on the Pyn. On the left of the Pyn, you'll be able to see the status whether it's Sent, Clicked or Read. In the case of a Read and Accept message, you will see if the message has been Accepted.

Check Readership Stats for Multiple Recipients

  1. Select the Sent tab

  2. Search for the title of the message or for the name or email address of the recipient.

  3. Click on the Message. To the left of the Message title, the status will indicate whether it's Sent, Clicked, or Read. If there are multiple recipients, you will see a dash.

  4. Click the blue Stats button on the top right of your screen to see the percentage of recipients who have Opened and engaged with the message. In the case of a Read and Accept message, you will see the percentage of recipients who have Accepted.

or firewalls that impact the true open rate or the deliverability of messages.
