Why connect to your Gmail account?

Pyn can now deliver messages with your email as the sender. This creates a more powerful experience for the recipient as it personalizes the message to increase engagement with your content. Another plus is that the recipient can reply to you directly. Another plus is this cuts back on the potential for messages to end in a spam or promotions folder.

How It's Done

  1. Log in to Pyn.

  2. Navigate to Drafts and select a Draft Message.

  3. Click the Sender.

  4. In the dropdown menu, select the option to connect to your Gmail account.

  5. Follow the prompts to connect to your Google Account.

What's Next?

Once successfully connected, when creating a message within Pyn your Gmail will now appear on the list of senders.

FAQ

  • Q: If I don't connect to my Google account who is the sender?

    • A: Currently all messages sent via email will come from notifications@pynhq.com. You can personalize your messages by adding additional Sender options and Reply-to Email addresses in the settings.

  • Q: If I connect my Gmail account will someone else in my organization be able to select me as a sender?

    • A: No. Other people in your organization using Pyn cannot select you as a sender. Pyn will only deliver a message on your behalf when you have selected that option as the message delivery method.

  • Q: Am I able to connect to a group inbox?
