How to filter your Map (Pyn 2)

Learn how to get a customized view of the Employee Journey Map

Written by Dame Dingding

Filtering your map allows you to look at a specific view based on the available properties. Some of these are pre-set and some will require customization in your map.

You can add as many filters per property as you like in order to get your desired customized view.

Within your map, you can add one or multiple filters by Category, Owner, Level of Effort, Priority, Recommended for Company Size, and Current State.

For example, if you wanted to focus on improving the high priority moments in the Onboarding experience, you can filter with the following:

  • Category: Onboarding

  • Priority: High

  • Current State: Needs Improvement and/or We don’t have this yet

In this example, for Priority and Current State, these are properties you would need to have added to your touchpoints in order to then be able to use them as filters. The Category property is pre-determined by the Employee Journey Mapper.
