Add a mailto link

Create a quick link to email addresses in your short messages

Written by Julianna Kapjian-Pitt

When creating a short message within Pyn, you now have the option to add a mailto link to email addresses. Mailto links are used to redirect to an email address instead of a web page URL. When an employee clicks on the Mailto link, their default email client on their computer will open and suggests sending a message to the email address mentioned in the Mailto link.

How it's done

To include a Mailto link in a short message follow these steps:

  1. Create or edit an existing Pyn.

  2. In the short message, add your desired email address.

  3. Highlight your email address and select the link option 🔗 from the tool bar.

  4. The pop-up modal will be pre-populated with Mailto: + the email highlighted

  5. Edit or save your email address.
