When creating a message within an automation, you may want to include other stakeholders that are relevant in this part of the Employee journey, but are not directly responsible for the Employee or their Manager. By creating an Alternative Email Recipient you can include other team members within the organization like HRBPs, the IT Team, or an individual member of the People team. This can be done by sending a specific message directly within the Automation or by adding that email address as a Cc recipient.
To create an Alternative Email Recipients:
Log into Pyn.
Go to Settings, then Alternative Email Recipients, and click Add.
Type the Name and Email address of the new Alternative Email Recipient alias, then click the Add option.
Adding a Cc in an Automation:
Navigate to your Automations and select a message.
Above the image, select the delivery to be an Email from your preferred Sender, choose the Recipient, and apply any Filters needed.
The last option will be a Cc, clicking on this will surface a dropdown menu with the Employee Manager and all custom Alternative Email Recipients.
⚠️ Only Owners and Admins will be able to select an Alias from this list.
