1- Approve the Pyn app for Teams for your team

Ask your Teams Administrator (usually someone within your IT department) to add the Pyn app for Teams for your company’s team.

Pyn can be found and installed from the Apps panel inside Teams.

2- Add the integration for Microsoft Teams within Pyn

⚠️ You'll need to be a Pyn Administrator to complete these steps.

Sign into Pyn. Select Integrations and choose Slack.

Click the "Add to Teams" button to initiate the connection process.

Teams will ask you to add Pyn to your team, and explains the permissions Pyn is requesting . This includes:

  • Permissions to match users in Pyn to Microsoft Teams via the email address in their profiles

  • Permissions to send Pyns via direct message to people

  • Permissions to send Pyns via group or channel to people

Click Add to team.

After approving, you will be redirected back to the Pyn integrations page.

From the integrations page, you can send yourself a test message. This confirms the installation has been successful.

That's it! You're ready to use Teams.
