Please note: Once you are connected to a Pyramid server your connection is encrypted and content can no longer be blocked by an internet provider. If you still have issues accessing content it is likely an issue with the IPTV provider which you may need to tell you are using a VPN.
For the best possible performance, we always recommend selecting a server from the country you’re streaming from, or the next closest server to you. So for example, select a UK server when streaming from the UK, select the France server when streaming from France etc.
Some customers leave their IPTV device connected to their home broadband router. To run a VPN service on your IPTV device, it must be connected directly to your Pyramid network.
You can test your device is connected correctly to Pyramid’s servers by visiting www.iplocation.net. If your internet service provider (Virgin, BT, Sky etc) is not listed, then you should be connected to our servers.
It may also be worth contacting your IPTV provider and let them know you're using a VPN, as some providers require registration of VPN based IP Addresses. For example, sometimes, if an IPTV provider sees multiple connections from a single IP address, they may block it as a safeguard to ensure people aren’t sharing their IPTV login information. Once you inform your IPTV provider you are using VPN, they should not block the IP addresses you are using.
Once your IPTV device (MAG Box, Zgemma etc) is connected to Pyramid, the device will now be behind Pyramid’s encrypted connection and cannot be logged, blocked or throttled by any Internet service provider.
