In-app sounds should not play if you have muted or silenced your phone. 🔇
However, they may still play if you have headphones connected. You can mute app sounds in the app settings by:
Going to the 'You' tab
Open 'Settings'
Tap on 'Notification Settings'
Toggle 'Mute' ON.
