Creating and restoring backups ensures traders can quickly recover personalized settings, historical data, and custom tools, minimizing downtime after system issues or migrations. It safeguards valuable configurations, enhancing efficiency and reliability. Cloud storage further ensures easy access and long-term security.
1. Disconnect from all active connections.
2. Go to Control Center > Tools > Export > Backup File.
3. In the Export Backup File window, select the components to include:
• Configuration Files: User settings.
• Database: Trade execution history.
• NinjaScript Files: Custom indicators, strategies, and add-ons.
• Templates: Saved configurations and display settings.
• Workspaces: Desktop layouts.
4. Choose a file location and name, then click Save.
Store your backup in a secure cloud service like Google Drive or OneDrive for easy access during reinstallations or migrations.
Restoring from Backup
1. Download the backup file from your cloud storage.
2. Open Control Center > Tools > Import > Backup File.
3. Select the backup file and click Open.
4. Choose the components to restore in the Import Backup File window.
5. Click Import to complete the process.
