What is a QScore?

Article describing why QuestFit calculates a QScore for Athletes

Updated over 11 months ago

A QScore is a computed score for an athlete based on various metrics for a given position in a given sport. It is a reference-only value used to match a player's ability to a college's athletic program level. This allows athletes, parents, and coaches to focus their efforts with greater efficiency, helping an athlete get recruited by choosing the right events to attend and targeting the proper schools with their Player Profile Reports via Prospect Mail or other communication methods.

From the college scout's perspective, the QScore allows scouts to find matching athletes, both athletically and academically, using the Scout Toolbox App provided by QuestFit.
