General Video Guidelines for Positional Throwing Velocity
Players and coaches can submit a clipped video via the QuestFit App of the player performing the metric event. QuestFit requires the following for our scouting staff to verify the submitted metric:

The video must contain the player performing the throwing velocity metric at least three times (Metric Event) and a maximum of 5 times. The best three times will be utilized to post a Max (best) and compute an average for that metric.
The receiver of the ball must be in view and must be able to receive the ball in each video clip for it to be acceptable. A scoopable ball in the dirt counts. A ball flight that cannot be caught by the receiver will not be considered.
A standard crow hop is acceptable. A run-n-gun approach for ball release will not be accepted.
The radar reading must always be in the camera view.
Tip: QuestFit prefers the Smart Coach Pocket Radar product. This allows for the radar to be in an optimal position and the smart phone positioned independently for optimal line-of-sight for the metric.
Video Submission Requirements
Based on the metric being performed, a specific set of requirements must be met for QuestFit staff to verify a metric. General requirements pertaining to all metrics are as follows:
Player performing the metric must introduce themselves to the camera stating their name, graduation year and team(s) as the first video clip. The clip then must contain that athlete getting into position to perform that metric. This allows QuestFit staff to match the attire of the athlete and the surroundings of the performance clips to the actual athlete’s introduction.
Player must be always in view in each video clip.
The minimum number of event clips per metric performance must be adhered to.
If a video has more than the minimum metric events, QuestFit will only take the best of the minimum number of events in the task. It is preferred that the user provides a clipped video rather than submitting a continuous video. QuestFit will accept and host videos for verification that are less than 100MB and these videos will be linked to the players metric verification tables embedded in their profile for Scout/public view.
A continuous video must be less than a 100MB in length or the sum of the individual clips must be less than 100MB.
The QuestFit requested camera angle must be adhered to.
