Players or coaches can submit a clipped video of the player performing the metric event via the QuestFit App. QuestFit requires the following for our scouting staff to verify the submitted metric:
The camera must be a smartphone or tablet capable of 120 to 240 frames per second at 720p / 1080p HD.
Note. Most smartphones and tablets meet this criterion. Older generations may not.
Both the Catcher and the Receiver (at 2nd base) must be in the field of view of the camera.
The video must contain the catcher performing the pop-time metric at least three times.
QuestFit must be able to see the ball enter the catcher’s glove in the video.
QuestFit must be able to see the ball enter the fielder’s glove at 2nd Base in the video.
