Your candidates have several statuses related to the General Data Protection Regulation (LGPD). These are:
Needs consent;
Consent requested;
Consented;
Needs removal;
Expired.
Status: Needs consent
All resumes that were already registered in your resume database before LGPD activation, candidates manually entered by your team, and candidates coming from partners like Indeed (i.e., all candidates who have not given explicit consent) will be identified with the status "needs consent".
Status: Consent requested
To request it, simply click on the option and select "request consent". Note that the candidate's status will automatically change to "Consent requested".
It's important to remember that this option will only be active if the candidate has a registered email address in their profile.
The candidate will receive an email with the customized message created in the settings area to give consent or request removal.
At this point, the candidate's expiration clock will be reset according to the LGPD settings you have configured.
Status: Consented
Candidates coming from the careers page who have given consent through the application forms:
Or candidates who have accepted in the consent request message.
At this point, the candidate's expiration clock will be reset according to the LGPD settings you have configured.
Status: Needs removal
Occasionally, a candidate may request the removal of their data, for which they should formally register the request via email or through the following options:
At the time of application, the candidate receives a confirmation email, and it includes the option to request data removal.
Candidates who were manually entered through prospecting and for whom consent was requested. The email sent to the candidate also includes the "decline" option, where they can request data removal.
Quickin does not automatically remove candidate data; you must delete it.
In the candidate's profile, the status "needs removal" will appear. To remove the candidate's profile, simply click the option.
Before removing the candidate's profile, Quickin will provide some guidance.
Once you have deleted the data, this action cannot be undone.
Status: Expired
Candidates who entered your talent pool and have reached the retention period. Remember that your team can change the time you want to retain candidate data in the general settings of the tool.
So when a candidate has this status, you can:
Request the candidate's consent again or;
Delete the candidate's data.
The candidate will have this status regardless of the stipulated time; it's up to you to perform one of the two actions mentioned above.
You can also request consent in batches by selecting candidates in your talent pool:
