Can I delete my account?

Yes, if you are absolutely certain that you would like to delete it, you can use “My Account” on web to delete it yourself.

What happens when it’s deleted?

You will be giving up your username and all items and prints in your account, FOREVER.

- Username & profile - Your username will become available for use once the account is deleted. Your profile and information will be completely deleted.

- Collections (items and mintables) - Your items revert to Quidd ownership, where they may be held, burned, or sold back into the community at a later date via aftermarket. Any items minted will remain in your wallet and will be able to move freely on the blockchain.

- Cash wallet (remaining balance) - They’re still on the records, but inaccessible. Kind of like a bank locker with a lost key.

- Privacy information - All of your personally identifiable information is deleted.

- ranks and status and DMs and Shelfies - All of your rankings, status, Direct messages, and shelfies are completely deleted from our system.

What if I change my mind after it’s deleted, can I get it back?

Unfortunately you cannot. Once the account is deleted, the deletion is permanent. Quidd cannot undo it for you.

If I decided to delete, what would I do?

Go to “My Account” tab on web and locate the option for “delete account”. Please be sure you understand what that action means and that it is irreversible.

Should I delete my account?

Quidd recommends you do not. Instead we recommend:

  • Selling your items on the cash aftermarket to recycle them back into circulation

  • Taking a break and coming back to see if you still feel the same

Your collection is stored in the cloud. If you do take a break and delete the app, your collection will still be here the next time you login.

However, in the end, it is your decision.

Where do my items and username go?

Your items revert to Quidd ownership, where they may be held, burned, or sold back into the community at a later date via aftermarket.

Your username becomes available for other users to choose from when creating their names. And of course, your profile is no longer discoverable by other users in the Quidd app.
