What is "Zapier"?
Zapier is an "intermediate" application aimed to connect several applications together and create automatisms.
As you can see Zapier works as a kind of "pipe" that connects applications to each other and sends information from one application to the others.
How does it work?
A little glossary:
Zapier is the "link" that connects hundreds of applications.
Zaps are automations that connect applications to each other so that they interact with each other.
A "trigger" is a triggering "event". It will launch the automation. (example: receiving an email, subscribing to a newsletter, filling in a questionnaire etc.)
An "action" is the action that completes the zap. It is what happens once the "trigger" is triggered. (Example: Send email attachments to a dropbox") These actions are done in the background, so you can concentrate on the essential tasks.
From an application to ➡️ Quorum;
I have a website and Quorum:
I want people who interact on the site (sign up for the newsletter, send a message, answer a questionnaire etc) to be recorded in my Quorum contact database.
I have a public email address and Quorum :
I want people who send an email to this address to be registered in my Quorum contact database.
I have professional social networks (Linked In, Facebook, twitter ..) and Quorum :
I want that when someone follows me, friend requests me etc... they are recorded in my Quorum contact base.
From Quorum to ➡️ another application;
I have Google Calendar and Quorum:
I would like an event to be created in my google calendar when an action is created in Quorum.
I have Google sheet and Quorum:
I want that when a contact is created in Quorum (during a mobilisation action for example) the contact is also added to a folder in Google Sheet.
I have Mailchimp, Sarbacane, Mailjet, etc... and Quorum :
I want that when a contact is created on Quorum (during a mobilization action for example) the contact is also added to the audience of my newsletter.
And many other uses are possible!
Contact the Quorum Support team to discuss and implement it.
