The AI-powered Plan Builder streamlines the creation of compensation plans, allowing you to generate plans using uploaded documents or text-based prompts. Whether enhancing an existing plan or starting fresh, the Plan Builder adapts to your needs and simplifies the process.
To begin, access the Plans page from the left-hand menu. From there, you can either edit an existing plan or create a new one. When starting a new plan, you can leverage the AI's capabilities by uploading a document that outlines your compensation structure or by providing a text-based description.
If you’re using a document, upload it directly into the Plan Builder and let the AI generate a plan. The generated plan will include components based on the document’s content, which you can review, refine, and adjust as necessary. You can choose to include all components or select specific ones to add to your plan.
Once your components are in place, further customization is available, such as renaming the plan, adjusting start and end dates, and adding any manual components.
For text-based input, describe your plan in detail. For instance, specify quotas, timeframes, and earning rules, such as "a quarterly quota of $375,000 with tiered earning rules based on ARR." The AI will use this description to build a plan.
If the initial output lacks precision, refine your input to include specific metrics or field names. The Plan Builder allows you to iterate on the details until the plan aligns with your requirements.
Once the plan is generated, you have full control to customize its components, ensuring everything is aligned with your compensation strategy.
You can make additional edits, refine field names, and adjust the quotas and earnings rules.
When everything looks good, finalize the plan by saving your changes.
