Below are a few examples of how this plan could be applied in a variety of industries and goods sold.
An Account Executive has a monthly quota of $33,000 ARR and earns a 10% commission of deals they close until they hit quota and 20% commission thereafter. They also earn a $1,000 bonus if they hit their monthly quota.
An IT Sales Rep has a hardware quota of $100,000 of revenue a quarter and earns 6% of deals they close. They also earn a $500 bonus for every $50,000 of revenue they sell.
An Insurance Rep has a resale quota of $20,000 of health plans per month and earns 0% of the premium of plans sold until they hit 50% quota, then 10% once they exceed 50% of quota. They also earn a $200 bonus for every plan they sell.
