Do you want to resolve commission discrepancies faster, without leaving QuotaPath?
One of our core values at QuotaPath is rep enablement and transparency, and Deal Flagging makes it easier for reps to self-identify potential issues with their earnings.
Let's walk through how to flag an issue from a rep's perspective.
First, head to the 'Deals' section of the app. In the Deals table, reps will see their earnings for each deal under the 'Earnings' column.
If something about the rep's earnings appears off, use the kebab menu icon on the far right side, visible beside every deal, and select 'Flag deal.'
Once selected, reps can choose the reason for flagging. Reps will have a comment window to leave a note and offer additional details for Admins. We recommend checking the box to notify Admins, so that they receive an email notification when a deal is flagged.
When a rep submits the flag, a small green window appears to alert them that the issue has been saved and reported to their QuotaPath Workspace Admin.
The flag submission also populates an “Open” status to notify the rep and the Admin that it hasn’t been resolved yet.
Now, when a rep returns to their Deals table, they'll see a red flag icon next to any deal on which they’ve submitted a ticket. To view a preview of the flag submission, users can simply hover over the icon.
Let's walk through how to flag an issue from an Admin perspective.
Immediately after a rep submits a flag, all other Workspace Admins will receive an automated email that says “Deal flagged.” A call to action within the email to enter QuotaPath will direct you to the deal in question and display all previous comments and statuses associated with this flag.
From here, Admins can review the deal, make any necessary adjustments, and update the status of the flag from 'open' to 'resolved.'
Once an Admin updates the status to 'resolved,' the flag icon within the Deals table for the rep and the Admin will turn from red to grey. This indicates it has been addressed. Should either user need to quickly recap what the prior issue was for that deal, they can scroll over the grey flag to see the history.
Admins can also filter deals by open flags to push any unresolved cases to the top of the table.
Admins can also flag deals. Regardless of who flags a deal, both the rep and the Admin will receive email notifications when a deal is flagged and when it is resolved.
