Archive a Plan

How to archive plans that are no longer active in QuotaPath

When the effective dates for a plan have lapsed and the plan is no longer active, it's recommended to archive the plan. Upon archiving the plan, the following will happen:

  • If paths are synced to an integration, the sync will be disabled and data will stop syncing. This ensures that data does not change after the plan is archived.

  • The plan will appear as an 'Archived' plan in the Plans filter throughout the app, which means it will not be selected by default.

  • If there are outstanding approvals or payouts, you will be able to filter for the archived plan and be able to continue to run the commissions payout process.

In order to archive a plan in QuotaPath, first navigate to the Plans page by clicking 'Plans' on the left-hand navigation bar. Go to the plan and click the three-dot kebob menu to the right of the plan name and select 'Archive plan'. After reading the notification in the pop-up modal, click 'Archive plan'.

When viewing your list of plans on the Plans page, you can now use the filter at the top to filter between 'Current', 'Archived', and 'All Plans'. This same filter will also be visible on the Earnings, Attainment, Deals, Payouts and Ledger dashboards.

If you would like to re-sync data on an archived plan, you can reactivate it at any time. To reactivate a plan, filter for 'Archived' plans on the Plans page. Go to the plan, click the three-dot kebob menu to the right of the plan name and select 'Reactivate plan'. After reading the notification in the pop-up modal, click 'Reactivate plan'. Data will begin syncing again for this plan and it will appear under the 'Current' plans section on the Plans page again.
