How to forecast earnings to see the potential earnings from Pipeline deals in QuotaPath

In the 'Earnings' dashboard in QuotaPath, members and Admins can use the 'Forecasting' feature to see potential earnings from Pipeline deals. This is one of user's favorite features because of how powerful it is.

If you scroll to the 'Pipeline' table on the 'Earnings' page, you'll notice that there are no earnings associated with this deal. That's because we don't show earnings until they've been Closed/Won.

To forecast your pipeline, there are two main ways to do so:

  1. The 'Forecast Pipeline' toggle located at the top next to the blue 'Add deal' button. Toggle this on and your pipeline will be forecasted for you.

  2. Or you can be more strategic and choose which deals you want to forecast. For example, if you want to forecast later stage opportunities to see how much commissions you'll make if you close those deals. Simply check the deals you want to forecast, and then use the 'Forecast Pipeline' toggle, and it will only forecast for the deals you've selected.

When forecasting, you'll be able to see potential commissions by each deal. You can drill down and go as granular as "Will this push me to my next attainment bracket?" or "Will I hit a bonus if I close this deal?"

At the top of the dashboard, you'll see the blue pills, which summarizes the total incremental earnings for each individual Path. And the 'Total Earnings' which will summarize the total incremental earnings.
