In this article, we'll go over the ins and outs of the 'Attainment' dashboard in QuotaPath.
Getting started on Attainment
Here is where Admins can view attainment for each member in their Workspace, and Reps can view their personal attainment. We don't show any data on earnings, only attainment on Closed/Won amounts.
For Admins - In the 'Individual' tab, select 'View as' and choose the member whose data you'd like to view.
You can open the filters drawer by clicking the 'Page Filters' pill, then 'Dates' filter to filter by deal date.
What are component cards?
Component cards allow you to view attainment against quota in a more streamlined way.
On Attainment, the cards are showing Closed/Won amount by Component.
View attainment based on the date range you've selected, alongside the full quota period that range falls within.
Expand and collapse quotas and components on Attainment to see either a rollup view, or a more granular view.
Understand your attainment against your selected date range and full quota period
Attainment values will reflect the dates that are selected in the filter, and the quota shown reflects the quota for the period that your date selection falls into.
Example
If I am filtered to February and have a quarterly quota, I will see the sum of my February deals as my attainment against my full Q1 quota.
If I am filtered from March - April and have a quarterly quota, I will see the sum of my March + April deals as my attainment against the sum of my Q1 + Q2 quota.
You can see these filtered results in the Attainment graph as well. Easily visualize your quota in a straight line against your attainment progress, and hover over the graph to see more details. Your graph will reflect any filters you've set at the 'Page Filter' level, and additionally you can refine your graph even more by filtering by Plan, Component, and time period (e.g. “monthly”).
In the graph's filters, 'Shared Quotas' are a combination of those components. This is useful if you have two different types of deals contributing to a quota. For example, a Net Retention quota that pulls in renewals, churns, and upsells. Those would be set up as their own unique Components, but they are part of a shared quota, so you can view the aggregate of that data.
Forecasting attainment
If you hover over the bars on the graph, it will show you where your attainment is relative to that time period. When you toggle on 'Forecast Pipeline', the blue line indicates what you need to be closing to be on pace to hit your quota. A bar of the same color but in a more transparent hue will appear stacked on the bar graph to indicate the forecasted amount. Each Component is color coded to make it easier to view.

This graph gives reps a great way to visualize how they are performing relative to their quota or goal.
Deals tables
The Deals section will show you a summary of all of your deals and the attainment value.
