Setting the Data Source for Leaderboards

Learn how to set the data source to populate a leaderboard

Updated over 6 months ago

When a leaderboard is initially created, you'll have the option to set the leaderboard data source. However, if new team members are added to the team, you may need to set their data source individually. If a data source is not set, their data will not populate on the Teams tab on the Attainment page or the Teams tab on the Earnings page.

While viewing a team, you may see that the data source is undefined. Click the pencil icon next to 'Source undefined' in order to select the data source. If you've created multiple leaderboards, you will need to define the source for each leaderboard separately:

In the pop-up modal, select the plan that should be used to source data for the leaderboard. Next, choose the path, shared field name or shared quota from that plan:

Click 'Save' when complete and then head to the Team tab on the Attainment or Earnings pages to start viewing data!
