Setting Up Your Smart Forms

Turn Templates into Forms for Clients, Employees and Suppliers

DocFlite lets you turn your document templates into interactive forms that others can fill out using a link

Create a template with editable fields then share the link, and collect responses easily.

Note: Smart Forms only work from DocFlite Templates.

Getting Started

First, go to Templates and Edit the template you want to use as a Smart Form.

On the menu bar, click on the Smart Form option.

If there is already a suitable workflow for this Template, a Smart Form link will be auto-generated; in this example Request Application is ready use.

NB; A workflow controls a documents movements, ensuring documents, notifications, tasks, emails and automations run smoothly between team members, customers, or suppliers. They track progress, reduce manual work, and keep everything consistent and efficient. Without a workflow, you will not be able to send a document.

Click on the link to access the Smart Form. From here, you copy the URL and use wherever you see fit e.g. Website, Social Media, Email.

If you do not have a Workflow, click the 'Get Started' button to set one up;
