Business Search Permission Settings
Business searches are charged at £1.00 per company searched, £1.00 per document list loaded and £1.00 per document downloaded.
So if you performed a search, loaded the document list and downloaded 3 documents to the relationship the charge would be £5.00
The Business Search functionality must be enabled by a system administrator before it can be used. This is managed by going to ‘Settings’
Navigate to 'User Settings' and click the edit Pencil on your chosen user
Checking the ‘Can Soft Search’ checkbox.
Completing a Business Search
Click the Edit Pencil on the relationship of your choice and scroll to the 'Business Searches' dropdown. From here click on 'Add Search'
The Following menu will display - the company number and name will be filled automatically:
Click 'Search' to get started - Remember each search is charged at £1.00
Info: This will load all available information showing maximum lending amount, estimated credit ratings, employees and turnover. You can also see the directors and other Directorships.
Click the 'Hide other Directorships' checkbox to only see the directorships relevant to the searched business.
You can also see things like shareholder information, mortgages, profit and loss, balance sheets, a history of credit ratings and a history of the companies monthly limit.
If you want to see the available documents scroll go to the 'Documents' dope down and click 'Search Documents': Remember each search is charged at £1.00
A full list of available statutory Documents will then be shown as below:
You can then select which documents you would like to download to the relationship by selecting as many documents as required and clicking 'Download Documents':

If you return to the relationship page you will be able to see the business search details are now loaded and the downloaded document is saved to the relationship and can be viewed like any other document:
