Note: To get started you need to link your Xero account to Accelerate, so if you've not already setup a Xero account you'll need to do that now.
Now you'll need make sure that anyone you want to be able to send invoices to Xero has the correct account settings in Accelerate.
For this, you need to head into Settings > Users and choose the desired user account(s).
Make sure they have 'Can Send To Xero' ticked:
Once your user has the Can Send To Xero flag ticked you'll be able to link your Xero account to Accelerate.
To do this head to Settings > Xero Settings and click the Connect to Xero Button.
When connected you will see this banner displayed:
The Xero Settings page will display what your current Xero status is, i.e. if you are connected or disconnected and which Xero organisation you are connected to. You can disconnect from Xero at any time, this will automatically disable the Accelerate Xero integration.
However, if you have used the Xero integration and disconnect, you cannot reconnect to a different Xero organisation as there will be links in Accelerate to Xero records that are no longer accessible. If you need to connect to a different Xero organisation, please contact support@qv.systems for assistance first.
Note: It is highly recommended that you disconnect your Xero account from the Accelerate end, rather than through your settings in Xero, as the Accelerate application will not be informed you have disconnect.
Once you have linked to your Xero account, this account is linked until you disconnect it. Your users will not need access to Xero and do not need to be setup as users in Xero, they will never be prompted to login to Xero.
