How to sign up with a personal email

What to do if you tried to sign up with a free email domain and got notice to contact support.

Written by Marley Brooks

If you are trying to sign up with a free email with a domain such as gmail, yahoo, icloud, etc, our system will show you this message:

No worries, you're not blocked. Qwoted does support these email domains, it just takes a couple of extra steps to get you verified.

Here's why: every account on Qwoted goes through a verification process. For personal email domains, we need a little more context to confirm who you are and which brand or company you represent. It's a quick check, not a barrier.

To speed things up, reach out to us at support@qwoted.com or drop a message in the chat with the following:

  • Your personal LinkedIn profile (not your company's page)

  • A short professional bio

  • Your company website

  • Any other digital reference that ties your name to your brand, such as a press mention, social media profile, or an "About" page that includes your name

We're looking to confirm two things:

  • The account belongs to a real individual.

  • That individual is genuinely connected to the company they're representing.

A note on shared accounts: Qwoted does not allow for one account to be shared amongst multiple users. Every account must belong to one individual person. If multiple people at your company want to use Qwoted, each person needs their own account. This is also why we ask for your LinkedIn profile specifically rather than your company's page. It helps us verify you as an individual, not just an organization.

Another heads up: if you reach out via chat outside of business hours, we'll get back to you as soon as someone is available. You won't be left hanging.
