Press Releases

Learn how to post a press release on Qwoted for free, manage drafts, and get your announcement in front of nearly 30,000 media users in the Qwoted network.

Qwoted has a free press release offering for experts and PR representatives on any plan.

What is a Press Release

A press release is a quick way to put a new initiative, milestone, or announcement in front of journalists who might want to cover it. Unlike pitching, it's more passive: you post it, and interested media can reach out if something catches their eye. It's a low-lift option for staying visible in the Qwoted network without actively working a specific request.

Qwoted's Free Press Release Offering

Any expert or PR representative on Qwoted, regardless of plan, can post a press release for free.

When you publish, your release is distributed within the Qwoted network and becomes visible in the press release feed that nearly 30,000 media users have access to inside their accounts. It won't arrive in anyone's inbox as an email, but it does live in that feed for journalists to browse.

A couple of things worth knowing upfront:

  • We no longer offer a paid syndication option. The paid tier, which used to push releases to outside publications, has been discontinued for the time being. The free, in-network option is what's available today.

  • View metrics aren't available yet. There's currently no way to see how many people have viewed your release, but that's something we're working on and plan to add soon.
