Submitting a Call for Experts on Qwoted is how you let experts, PR professionals, and sources know what kind of commentary you’re looking for. Whether you need an industry expert, a guest for your show, or product recommendations, creating a Call for Experts is the first step to getting the right responses.
Here’s how to get started:
Start a New Call for Experts
From your dashboard, you can begin a Call for Experts in two ways:
Click the “Create Post” button on the left side of your screen.
Or, click on one of the call type cards (People or Products) to go directly to that type of call.
Side note: the Grow Your Audience option is not a call but an opportunity to showcase your published content. This is formerly known as Share My Work.

Additional Options
Promoting your call
Wider Visibility: Qwoted may also give your call for experts an extra lift by sharing a general version of your ask on social channels like X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This helps more experts find your call and increases the chances of strong pitches.
Opt-Out: If you’d prefer not to have your call promoted publicly, simply check the box that says “Do not promote this call on Qwoted’s social.”
👉 Think of this as deciding whether your Call for Experts stays inside Qwoted’s walls or gets an extra push outside to reach a wider pool of experts.
Fee-Based Opportunity
If your call for experts involves a paid editorial placement (for example, sponsored content or fee-based coverage), you’ll need to indicate that clearly when posting. Even if this payment is optional, please check off this box.
Why this matters: Transparency keeps Qwoted’s community fair and trustworthy.
Important: Failure to disclose fee-based opportunities may lead to account restrictions.
Set Your Dates
When will you stop accepting pitches? – This is your deadline. This field is required, so if you do not have a deadline, select a date and you can always update/extend it later.
Schedule - If you want to schedule this post ahead of time, toggle down the Schedule menu and select your preferred date. If you want to post now, skip this step and select "Post" at the bottom
Finalize
Give your Call for Experts one final review then select "Post" or "Schedule" depending on which option you went for.
After Publishing
Next, you’ll be taken to a page where you can do two things to boost visibility and attract more pitches:
Invite Experts – Click the Invite Experts button to directly reach out to relevant experts suggested by Qwoted. This helps increase the chances of receiving strong, tailored pitches for your call.

Promote on LinkedIn – You’ll also see an option to Promote on LinkedIn. Sharing your call for experts on LinkedIn boosts visibility outside of Qwoted, helping you attract additional pitches from your extended professional network.

Tip: Even if your ideal source isn’t on Qwoted, submitting a call for experts will prompt PR teams in our network to suggest similar experts who could be a fit.
A Note on Posting Volume
To get the most out of your calls for experts and make sure each one gets the attention it deserves, we recommend posting no more than 3 calls at a time, then waiting a few hours before submitting more. In general, try to keep it to a maximum of 5 calls per 24 hours.
Spacing them out, or saving some for the next day when you can, helps each call get maximum visibility and a stronger response rate. When a lot of calls go out at once, they end up competing with each other.
If you want to plan ahead, our call for experts form has a scheduling feature that lets you set a future publish time, which makes it easy to pace things out without having to come back manually.
We also want to give you a heads-up: posting a high volume of calls for experts in a short window can sometimes trigger our spam protection, which may temporarily disable your account. Following this approach whenever possible will help you avoid any interruptions.
We get that tight deadlines don't always allow for this, and that's okay. But when you have the flexibility, pacing your calls for experts will almost always get you better results.
