Sometimes Racers show up late, and you have to add them. Here's how to do that.
If someone needs to be added to your race but cannot or will not create their own RaceReady account and sign up independently, you can still assist them through the following steps:
Log in to your promoter account and navigate to the specific event where the racer needs to be added.
Select the event's menu icon and choose "Manage Race."
Within the "Racers" tab, click on the menu icon at the top right of the screen to reveal the dropdown menu. Then, select "Add Racer."
On this page, you have two options: a. If the racer has already registered in our system, search for their name in the search bar and select "Add to Event." b. If the racer does not have a RaceReady account, you can create one for them. Simply click on "Add New Rider" and follow the account creation steps that they would typically go through. Fill out the necessary fields accordingly.
Once the racer's profile is created, you can proceed to build a cart and complete the checkout process on their behalf, either using a credit card or cash. Click on "Purchase new items for user."
You will notice a message along the top of your screen, indicating that you are now inside the racer's profile and checking out on their behalf.
Follow the regular steps for event registration (refer to the relevant article if needed) and, at the checkout stage, record the registration accordingly.
Ensure that the racer selects and acknowledges the Terms and Conditions of their participation.
You can enter their credit card number, or if you prefer to accept cash instead of processing a credit card payment, please note that RaceReady fees will still apply and be deducted from your disbursement.
