To create a new leaderboard, click the blue “+ Add Leaderboard” button in the upper right corner of the page.

You’ll first:

  1. Enter a name for your leaderboard

  2. Choose a leaderboard type

There are four types of leaderboards:

  • Exercise Leaderboard

  • Custom Function Leaderboard

  • % Gains Leaderboard

  • All Time Leaderboard

1. Exercise Leaderboard

Use this when creating leaderboards based on a specific exercise.

Steps:

  1. Select Exercise as the leaderboard type

  2. Choose the exercise from the dropdown

  3. Select the Source Mode:

    • Most Recent Test

    • Training Max

    • Most Recent (training max or test score)

    • Specific Test Period

      • (If selected, an additional dropdown will appear to choose the test period)

  4. (Optional) Set a date range

  5. (Optional) Select a Leaderboard Group

  6. Choose sorting order:

    • Ascending (lowest score first)

    • Descending (highest score first)

  7. Select gender display:

    • Male

    • Female

    • Both

  8. Select roster(s)

    • If none are selected, data will pull from all rosters with matching data

2. Custom Function Leaderboard

Use this when creating leaderboards based on a custom report or formula.

Steps:

  1. Select Custom Function as the leaderboard type

  2. Choose a Custom Report from the dropdown

  3. Select the Source Mode (same options as above)

  4. (Optional) Set a date range

  5. (Optional) Select a Leaderboard Group

  6. Choose Ascending or Descending order

  7. Select gender display

  8. Select roster(s)

    • Defaults to all applicable rosters if none are selected

3. % Gains Leaderboard

Use this to track improvement between two data points.

Steps:

  1. Select % Gain as the leaderboard type

  2. Choose the exercise

  3. Select the Source Mode (current value)

  4. Select a baseline test period to compare against

  5. (Optional) Set a date range

    • Not required since two data sets are already selected

  6. (Optional) Select a Leaderboard Group

  7. Choose Ascending or Descending order

  8. Select gender display

  9. Select roster(s)

    • Defaults to all applicable rosters if none are selected

4. All Time Leaderboard

Use this to display best performances across all recorded data.

Steps:

  1. Select All Time as the leaderboard type

  2. Choose the exercise

  3. Select the Source Mode

  4. (Optional) Set a date range

    • Not necessary; this pulls from all available data

  5. (Optional) Select a Leaderboard Group

  6. Choose Ascending or Descending order

  7. Select gender display

  8. Select roster(s)

    • Defaults to all applicable rosters if none are selected

Final Tips

  • Use Descending order for lifts (higher is better)

  • Use Ascending order for timed events (lower is better)

  • Leaderboard Groups help organize multiple leaderboards, but you can always move them later
