Coaches and athletes have the ability to enter the reps complete and weight lifted on any exercise within a workout if the "Training Data Per Set" has been enabled on the workout editor/builder page. In order to enter workout data, the workout must be assigned on the calendar to at least one roster.

When enabling the Training Data Per Set feature, there are a few different set ups available.

Set Up 1: Training Max and Training Data Per Set with Percents

To collect the weight lifted and reps complete on each set AND generate a new training max (based on data entered for last set) for an exercise with a base weight to lift provided, the following must apply:

  1. Tested exercise or exercise correlated to a tested exercise must be selected

  2. Number of Reps must be assigned

  3. Percent of max/correlation must be assigned

  4. Both boxes must be selected (Training Max and Training Data Per set)

Set Up 2: Training Max and Training Data Per Set w/o Percents

To collect the weight lifted and reps complete on each set AND generate a new training max (based on data entered for last set) for an exercise without percents/ a base weight to lift provided, the following must apply:

  1. An exercise must be selected

  2. Number of Reps must be assigned

  3. Both boxes must be selected (Training Max and Training Data Per set)

  4. Set at a minimum the percent the athlete should lift on the last set of the movement, then hide the percent boxes for the exercise by clicking the icon to the left of the percent boxes/notes 2 box.

    1. This tells the athlete the weight they should aim to lift for the last set of the exercise based off the percent assigned to the last set and the max source used when assigning the workout

  5. Record Weight box must be selected

Set Up 3: Training Data Per Set with Reps only Recorded

To collect only the reps completed on each set, the following must apply:

  1. An exercise must be selected

  2. Number of Reps must be assigned

  3. The Training Data Per Set box must be selected

  4. Toggle the percent off for the exercise by clicking the icon to the left of the percent boxes/notes 2 box.

Set Up 4: Training Data Per Set with Reps and Weight Lifted Recorded with Percents

To collect the reps completed and weight lifted on each set with percents/base weight to lift provided, the following must apply:

  1. An exercise must be selected

  2. Number of Reps must be assigned

  3. The Training Data Per Set box must be selected

Set Up 5: Training Data Per Set with Reps and Weight Lifted Recorded w/o Percents

To collect the reps completed and weight lifted on each set with no percents/base weight to lift provided, the following must apply:

  1. An exercise must be selected

  2. Number of Reps must be assigned

  3. The Training Data Per Set box must be selected

  4. Toggle the percent off for the exercise by clicking the icon to the left of the percent boxes/notes 2 box.

  5. Record Weight box must be selected

PLEASE NOTE:

If the goal is to base future workouts off of the weight lifted in a workout (and not test period), Training max must be selected within the workout and burnout set data must be entered to generate the new training max.

Athlete weights for future workouts cannot be based off of Training Data Per Set entries. However, reports can be ran to view Training Maxes or data entered on Training Data Per Set on the Reports Page.
