See how to quickly create and edit course lessons

Course Lessons: Can be created within a course or from the Lessons Library page

*Available for accounts with access to RackCoach's Pro and Trial subscription levels

Creating lessons from the Lesson Library:

  1. Navigate to the the Lessons library by clicking "Courses" on the left side navigation menu and select "Lessons"

  2. Click the "+" button located near the upper right corner of the Lessons page

  3. Enter at least a title and author for the lesson

    1. Optional information that may be added:

      1. Estimated lesson duration

      2. Video URL - can include links from YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive and Hudl (videos will always appear at the top center of the lesson)

      3. Tags - for description purposes only

  4. Create the lesson in the space provided, similar to a word document in set up

    1. Font size, color, style, alignment may all be customized

    2. Bullet points, numbered lines may be added

    3. Indention of text or picture is available

    4. Pictures may be uploaded or brought in with a URL

  5. Be sure to click the blue "Save" button near the bottom of the New Lesson pop up before exiting the lesson builder

Creating lessons from Course Builder:

  1. Open the course you wish to create a lesson for

    1. either create a new course, edit a draft or edit a template

  2. Under the section you wish to add a lesson to, click the blue text "+ Create Lesson"

    1. If you are adding a lesson to a new course, you will first need to add a section to the course by clicking the blue text "+ Add Section"

  3. Enter at least a title and author for the lesson

    1. Optional information that may be added:

      1. Estimated lesson duration

      2. Video URL - can include links from YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive and Hudl (videos will always appear at the top center of the lesson)

      3. Tags - for description purposes only

  4. Create the lesson in the space provided, similar to a word document in set up
