Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure

Updated over a week ago

The Affiliated Business Arrangement Disclosure (often called ABA, ABAD, or Associated Business Disclosure) informs a consumer that our brokerage, an agent, or an affiliate has a business relationship with a settlement service provider. Federal RESPA rules require this disclosure at or before the time of referral. California transactions use the California version of the form.

California Transactions Only

When it is Required: Provide the disclosure any time you refer a client to a service provider with whom there is an ownership or other beneficial relationship. Examples include title, escrow, mortgage, home warranty, or insurance affiliates.
