After connecting your wallet, you'll need to deposit funds to participate in prediction markets. Rain Trade supports cross-chain deposits, so you can add funds from multiple blockchain networks without needing to bridge them manually.
Supported networks and tokens
Rain Trade's markets run on Arbitrum, but you can deposit from the following networks:
Arbitrum
Ethereum
BNB Chain (Binance Smart Chain)
Base
Bitcoin
Supported deposit tokens: USDT, USDC, ETH, BNB, BTC, and RAIN (on applicable networks). Rain Trade handles all bridging and conversion automatically.
How to deposit
Click the dropdown menu in the top-right corner (to the right of the Create button).
Select Deposit.
A window will appear with two funding options.
Option 1: Via connected wallet (direct deposit)
This option supports USDT and RAIN on Arbitrum only. If you don't hold either of these in your connected wallet, use Option 2.
Enter the amount of USDT or RAIN you want to deposit.
Click Deposit and confirm the transaction in your external wallet.
Option 2: Via deposit address (cross-chain)
Use this option if you're sending funds from an external address or a different blockchain network (for example, ETH from Ethereum).
Choose the originating Chain and deposit Token from the dropdowns.
Click Generate Swap Request.
A warning will appear, notifying that the generated deposit address is valid for one swap only and expires in 2 minutes. Click OK to continue.
A unique deposit address and QR code will be generated.
Send the exact amount of your chosen token from your external wallet to the provided address. Rain Trade will process the transfer and credit your account in USDT on Arbitrum.
Important: Always make sure the token and chain you select in the app match the asset you're sending. Mismatches can result in delays or loss of funds.
