Agency users now have access to two choices when ending placements:
End Placement – Used only to bring an end date forward before the current end date.
Edit/Extend Placement – Used only to extend the placement’s end date beyond the original end date.
How It Works
When End Date Is Within the Notice Period
If you are selecting an end date that is on or before the assigned notice period:
Approval will be required from both the Client and the Contractor.
This ensures fair and transparent communication when early termination is requested.
When End Date Is Beyond Notice Period
If you are selecting a future end date that exceeds the placement notice period:
No approvals will be required from either the Client or the Contractor.
The system will automatically accept the request and update the placement accordingly and will notify all the entities.
How to end a placement
In order to change the end date:
Login to the Raise platform and click into the ‘Temp Placements’ section using the left hand navigation pane
You will then need to click into the appropriate placement
Select 'End placement'
A pop-up will appear for you to select the date and add comments
Once you have selected a date, a banner will appear to advise if client/contractor approval is/isn't required
Tick the confirmation box at the bottom
Click Insert
If this change requires approval, the client and contractor will be notified.
