Overview
This guide is part of the broader Temp Placement Request process. After you submit contractor details, the next step is to provide client details. It focuses on entering client details when you're requesting a new placement. This includes selecting an existing client or adding a new one.
Steps
Choose the client
Select an existing client (from your onboarded clients linked to your agency) or add a new client.
If you add a new client
Enter client company details
If the client is a UK company, use the Companies House API to search for official information.
If the client is a school, search by the school name.
If the client is not UK-based, choose 'No' for UK registration and fill in additional details like company name and registration number.
If you don’t have the official registration number, select 'No' for the registration number question. This will prompt the onboarding team to assist you later.
For UK government entities, societies, charities, or trusts without Companies House information, select UK as the country, provide additional details, and the onboarding team will take care of the rest.
Issue or upload the client's master terms
Issue terms for signature
Issue terms for signature: Choose either the Raise standard template or the agency template you provided. To add your own templates, please contact us through the live chat or support@raisetech.io.
If you choose the Raise standard template, you need to provide a transfer fee that's applicable should your client engage your contractor (up to 12 months after their placement).
Upload a signed copy
If you choose an existing client
The platform will display the master terms, including terms of business and payment terms (with a preview).
You cannot change payment terms at the individual placement level. These remain consistent across all placements for the same client.
To update payment terms, go to the client's page, update the payment terms, and either issue new master terms or upload a new signed document. All active placements will then automatically reflect the updated terms.
Notes
Raise standard terms of business cover both temporary and permanent placements.
