Some collaborations now ask you to film not just one video, but your original plus up to four variations of it.
What is a variation?
A variation is your original video with one element changed, for example a different hook, a different setting, or a voice-over instead of face to camera. A collaboration can include up to four variations.
⚠️ A variation is not a new idea, it is the same concept with one thing changed.
What do I need to post?
Only your original video goes live on your account. Variations are delivered as files directly to the brand and are never posted. You post once per collaboration, no matter how many variations you film.
How do I apply?
You apply once for the whole collaboration. Before you apply, you will see the full brief, including the original concept, every variation, and how much each video pays. Review everything carefully before you apply, since variations cannot be added or removed afterward.
What about deadlines?
Your original and every variation share the same deadline. Filming additional videos does not give you additional time, so plan your shoot around all of them, not only the original.
How do I get paid?
You are paid once, after every video in the collaboration has been delivered or resolved. If you deliver a variation early, you still wait for the rest of the collaboration before payment is made. The amount shown when you apply is the maximum you can earn; a video that is not delivered is not paid.
⚠️ If your original is not delivered, the entire collaboration is cancelled, including any variations already delivered. No payment is made for cancelled videos.
How are variations reviewed?
Review works the same way as any other collaboration, with one difference: your variations are not reviewed until your original has been reviewed first. This is the expected flow and does not mean anything has gone wrong with your submission.

What happens if I miss the deadline on one variation but not the others?

What happens if my original is not delivered?

Can a brand request feedback or changes on a variation?
